WRITING CONTEST PLACEMENTS
My latest 30 minute TV pilot Commentariat was a Round 2 pick in the Sundance Episodic Lab + a SemiFinalist in the FinishLine Scriptwriting Competition. Commentariat asks the question, “What if Homeland was about a disgraced and disgruntled social media manager?” and the answer to the question is, “Yeah, that’d be totally weird, thrilling, and hilarious.”

SPACE ROCK OPERA
SPACE ROCK OPERA is a one(ish) woman show with a killer 4-piece backing band:
Mrs Hughes is the only person to ever survive being hit by a meteorite, but when her luck turns she is determined not to fade into obscurity, but opts instead to reach for country music stardom!
Tonight is her big LA showcase - and although she is periodically possessed by the space rock that changed her life, she leads us on a Hedwig-meets-Unsinkable-Molly-Brown journey that somehow ends in an atheist-safe spiritual revival.
It’s goofy, it’s moving, it truly rocks, people love it, and oh yeah it features a giant Space Rock disco ball hanging over the audience.
